Quality function deployment (QFD) methodology is applied to study the design and commercialization of “Cuy Faenado”. The analysis is based on matrix correlation between variables that are eventually consolidated in the so-called house of quality. We analyze customer requirements (CR), competitive evaluation, evaluation of customer requirements (CR), correlation between technical characteristics (TC), relation between user needs versus quality characteristics, correlations between CT and compare the results with those of existing competitors are analyzed. Moreover, the TC prioritized for the rearing, slaughtering and marketing processes to be implemented in the product are shown. Finally, TCs are quantified so that they can satisfy customer requirements.
